when markets print ugly

I know I have reduced size and frequency on trades

I know i have been moaning and bitching about the market

but look at the recent few session on this 60 minute chart of the S&P500 and tell me if I am not spot on how ugly recent markets print and that the best position isn't

NO POSITION

so again my apologies but mainly for tomorrow my best advise is to be sitting on your hands and be very selective to only pick good looking beauty trades or otherwise keep your powder dry

I am writing this for a good reason

my experience is when markets print ugly that one gets quickly used to ugly printing markets and restart trading signals which later observed one asks oneself

what was i smoking to take this signal

It is these times where it is most important to be alert and watch ones own crafted chart books on what an actual signal for entry looks like to remind oneself to not lower ones standard

it is very easy to acquire a loser and even a string of losing trades but it is that much harder to weed out winners let alone a string of winners
