what it is not
One helpful process in science is eliminating possibilities. One reaches clarity and insight through this methodology of elimination. A process that could be described as "what it is not."
Why are we focusing on hunches and replication patterns regarding trading?
Wouldn't it be better also to have a process of elimination to come to the scientific truth?
Think of the red car syndrome (you buy a car; from then on, all you see are red cars in the street. You are convinced there are many more red cars while, in truth, nothing has changed at all. All one focuses on is imaginary red cars.)
If you instead try looking at a chart for what it is not, you automatically end at a truthful perception of what it is through this elimination process.
